Broder Bros., Co.

BroderBros., Co. is one of the nation’s largest distributors of trade, private-label, and exclusive apparel brands to the imprinting, embroidery and promotional product industries, serving customers since 1919. It currently has eight U.S. distribution centers with the capability to deliver to approximately 80 percent of the U.S. population in one day. BroderBros. was formed in 1999 when private equity firm Bain Capital purchased Detroit-based Broder. In September 2003, BroderBros. acquired all of the outstanding capital stock of Alpha Shirt Company. Alpha and certain of its subsidiaries were then merged with and into BroderBros. BroderBros. subsequently expanded by adding NES clothing in 2004. The company’s three divisions distribute industry-leading brands Anvil, Fruit of the Loom, Gildan, Hanes, and Jerzees as well as exclusive retail brands adidas Golf, Champion, and Columbia. Broder Bros., Co. also distributes its own private label brands. Devon & Jones, Hyp and Authentic Pigment brands are marketed under the Alpha division, while Chestnut Hill, Great Republic, and Desert Wash are found in the Broder portfolio of brands. NES distributes Harvard Square. All three divisions carry Harriton.
